PPC 1/125 Qantas L-1049 Super Constellation
Affectionately known as “Connie” the HARS Super Constellation was originally a USAF C-121C that served until 1977 when it was placed in storage. HARS volunteers spotted the aircraft in 1990 and after a long restoration project it was brought back to life as a flying memorial to the 16 QANTAS aircraft that flew in the 1950’s and 60’s. The aircraft is now a regular performer at airshows throughout Australia.
