Border Model BS004 1/350 Yamato April 7 1945

Border Models announced this completely new-mold 1/350-scale model kit of the legendary Imperial Japanese Navy battleship Yamato at the 62nd Shizuoka Hobby Show!

Features

  • This next-generation ship model reproduces her final appearance in 1945, and is equipped with cutting-edge slide-mold technology, 3D-printed parts, and photo-etched parts!
  • Decals and a metal gun barrel are also included. The three main gun turrets with their complete internal structure are reproduced based on the latest research.
  • The hull is made with a four-sided slide mold, and the bridge and various other structures are also extensively slide-molded to minimize the number of parts.
  • The 3D-printed parts are easy to assemble, too; 3D-printed parts include the Type 96 anti-aircraft machine gun (can be built with or without canopy), 127mm high-angle gun (can be built with or without canopy), turret with blast bag, rangefinder, waterproof cloth, rails for transporting seaplanes, bulletproof mantle and more!
