The 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 was an instant classic — packed with all the drama, excitement and unpredictability that only Mount Panorama can deliver. From wild weather and multiple Safety Cars to bold strategy calls and a breathtaking finish, this year’s Great Race had it all.
Erebus Motorsport are no strangers to Bathurst heroics, having previously conquered The Mountain in 2017 and again in 2024. For 2025, the team returned with the crowd-favourite Chiko colours that famously took victory the year before. With rising stars Cooper Murray — contesting his second Bathurst 1000 — and debutant Jobe Stewart behind the wheel, the #99 Camaro was once again right in the fight for glory.
In treacherous, fast-changing conditions, the young pairing showed composure well beyond their experience. As the laps counted down, Murray found himself leading in a thrilling battle with James Golding. On lap 157, Golding made a daring move down the inside at Griffins Bend, tagging the Chiko Camaro and sending it towards the barriers. The move earned Golding a penalty, but heartbreakingly dropped the Erebus entry to fourth place in one of the most dramatic Bathurst finishes in recent memory.
While victory narrowly slipped away, a fourth-place result was still an outstanding achievement for the team — and the #99 Chiko Camaro remains a fan favourite. This model will look perfect displayed alongside last year’s Bathurst-winning car.
This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.
A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.
Comprised of roughly 205 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.
It will come in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.
